Hello Faithful Supporter,

We are so excited about the growth of Family First and know that we are making a significant impact in our community. With growth comes some change, which directly affects the mode of your donation. Since moving to east Africa in 2013 our church, The Vine, has graciously processed all of our personal donations. We are so grateful for their support over the past 10 years. We are now in a position where we need to shift our personal support to our 501c3, Family First Worldwide, which we founded in 2021. This shift will be advantageous for us as an organization as we work to become sustainable and transparent in all we do. Your donations will continue to go towards supporting our family on the field in Uganda and are still tax deductible. I am hoping the shift from The Vine to our Family First platform will be relatively pain free!

There is a bit of urgency, as we hope to complete this process by September 30, 2022.

After September 30, 2022, The Vine is changing their giving platform and will no longer be processing any donations on our behalf. We would love to hear from you if you have any questions.

If you wish to donate via the secure online platform on our website, follow these steps:

  1. Click this link: https://pushpay.com/g/thevinetemple to Log onto The Vine website to cancel your current recurring payment plan. You will have to log onto your account to cancel your current payment.

  1. Have your payment card ready to use on the Family First payment portal

  2. Click this link www.familyfirstug.com/get-involved/  to go to our fundraising page. To Use Snowball, fill out the left side of the screen indicated by the blue arrow on the picture below.

  1. Enter your giving amount

  2. Select monthly from the donation frequency drop down box

  3. Fill in your personal information

  4. Comments are optional, we would love to hear from you.

  5. Please do not click the anonymous box, as the only people who see your donation are the Erdmans and our accountant. This does not give us access to your credit card information, just your name and address.

  6. Decide if you want to cover the processing fee of 2.5% by checking or unchecking the box. You will see the amount charged to your card change increase slightly when you check and uncheck this box.

  7. Click Donate

  8. On the next screen fill out your card and billing information

  9. You must select “securely save this information” to successfully set up a recurring payment.

  10. Click submit

  11. Your payment will process and then you will get a ‘thank you for your donation’ message with your donation information.

  12. You will also get a receipt from us in your email.

  1. Click the PayPal link and you will be taken to this page where you can then use your PayPal account or a credit card to set up your recurring donation.

Finally, if you would like to set up a direct deposit into our bank account using the account and routing number, please email support@familyfirstug.com and I will send that information to you directly.
